Gil Cardoso

Born in Rio de Janeiro, Gil Cardoso, the founder of BPM, has performed extensively in Brazil and in regions of France. In the United States he performs in shows, night clubs, and restaurants. He accompanied singers like Leila Pinheiro, Celso Blues Boy, Zelia Duncan, Dalto, Nico Resende. Playing with the bands Saloon & Cia, and Colorado Country, Gil Cardoso participated in the most important country music festivals in Brazil in the cities of Barretos, Goiânia, and Rio.

He successfully composed "Dia de Rodeio" which is one of the highlights of Leandro & Leonardo’s repertoire. Recently, Gil Cardoso came up with another huge success, when he composed "Aqui o Sistema é Bruto" together with the most famous country music duo in Brazil - Chitãozinho & Xororó. The song "Aqui o Sistema é Bruto" gives the title to the CD of the duo, with great success in shows, radio stations, and Brazilian TV networks.

Gil Cardoso puts his talent to create jingles, spots, sound tracks, and audio vignettes
for his clients. He produces a large number of jingles for brands and products.
As a musician, arranger, singer, speaker, Gil has his work widely recognized by advertising agencies, advertisers, independent producers, and radio and TV networks.

The composer, exclusive of Sony Music, lives with his family in Florida, USA.
