Gil Cardoso is an accomplished bass player and he has played with the best musicians in Brazil.
Living in the United States since 2002, Gil has been playing, and recording as a special guest with local artists and studios like Fonda Cash, Lisa B, Derek Lopes, Cezar Santana, Insane Sound Studios, Power Station Studios to name a few.

Songwriter

Gil successfully composed "Dia de Rodeio" which is one of the highlights of Leandro & Leonardo’s repertoire. Recently, Gil Cardoso came up with another huge success, when he composed "Aqui o Sistema é Bruto" together with the most famous country music duo in Brazil - Chitãozinho & Xororó. The song "Aqui o Sistema é Bruto" gives the title to the CD of the duo, with great success in shows, radio stations, and Brazilian TV networks.
